I started my journey as a Lecturer in Maths in 2003 after the BSc Mathematics in my native and my masters in PSG college of technology.
Initially I did not know the psychology of students so my first 3 years of teaching was very challenging.
I went to UK for my higher studies but I could not finish it. I came back to India and I resumed my profession as a lecturer. By then I realised I needed better skills to become a successful teacher.
I got into personal development and started learning behavioral science and psychology to help my students in a better way.
I got a complete breakthrough when I started learning NLP in 2014. NLP is Neuro Linguistic Programming through which I understood how to teach and train students.
Even some students at Engineering colleges are not comfortable with Mathematics which hits them hard in competitive exams. It isn't easy to correct them at that age.
But when they are in 8th or 9th class, they transition from a kid to an adult, and they can be easily taught and molded for their career. And NLP has a significant role in that.
Based on my experience and research, I founded the *RaPa for Maths Confidence* to help 8th and 9th graders.
